Students Serve Around the Upstate

This summer, over 80 of our students are serving through Mission Upstate! These students are dedicating their time and energy to serving with some of our partners in the Greenville area. Here are some highlights!

• Students served as camp counselors at Camp Griggs (in partnership with Griggs Church) and Front Porch Housing Summer Camp. They lead the campers in worship/Bible time, fun activities, team building challenges, music, field trips, and more!
• Students engaged in service projects at locations across the Upstate: Poe Mill Achievement Center, Front Porch Housing, Lead Collective/Eleos, and Park Place Baptist Church.
• Students also got to learn about the different organizations, understand the effects of poverty on communities and children, and expand their understanding of different life realities for our neighbors.

We wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has prayed for Mission Upstate, in addition to the many people who donated camp equipment and snacks! Please join us in praying that God would continue to work in the hearts of our students and those they ministered to this summer.
