We Choose is our ministry plan—it provides a framework for our church to pursue spiritual health and advance God's Kingdom both within and outside of our local congregations. We believe our mission of making disciples is intertwined with serving our communities at home and the global church.

One discipleship opportunity we offer on an ongoing basis is Money Matters—a class designed to help participants renew their mindset concerning personal finance, become faithful stewards of the resources God has given them, and bring him glory through their money as well as their lives. We all wrestle with questions around our money: Why is it so important to be generous? How much money do I need to save? Does my lifestyle truly honor the Lord? How do I get started with budgeting and planning? Money Matters offers a biblical framework for all these questions and more.

This week, a new episode of the Grace Church Members podcast unpacks Faithfully Gathered in even more detail, including how and why the concept was developed and what it looks like for us to implement faithful gathering in our personal and corporate practice. We hear Blake Payne, Tanner Corley, and podcast host Scott Mozingo explore this topic, and we invite all our members to engage with these ideas and prayerfully consider what it looks like for us to be Faithfully Gathered.

Recently, about 250 women from our Downtown campus got together for a Women at Grace event—an opportunity for women to be discipled and connect with one another. This event was planned with the hope that women would be inspired to action by hearing from women in various seasons share how God is moving in their lives, by hearing more of an ongoing campus vision for members to be biblically saturated, and by being challenged to grow in the area of contentment.

The journey through chronic illness is often isolating, because most people who are sick soon recover and move on with their lives. Very few people truly understand what it’s like to face pain and physical limitations every day for an extended period of time.

This past fall, Grace Church raised over $400,000 towards JUMPSTART’s Opportunity Center, and we are thankful for everyone who contributed to partner with JUMPSTART’s mission of gospel-driven discipleship. We believe what JUMPSTART is doing to disciple prisoners who are reentering society is a beautiful picture of how Jesus serves us.

One facet of our Outreach ministry is Missions Grants—a funding program that invites our members to apply for yearly grants of $1,000-2,500 to support specific projects or programs of their personal ministry. As applications for Missions Grants open soon, we’d love to introduce one of our current recipients. Meet Powdersville member Amanda Smith!
