Last month, all our campuses set aside an evening to gather and spend focused time in prayer together. This practice of intentional prayer is important to both our health as a body of believers and our individual spiritual growth. There was time for worship, and many shared stories of life change.

In a culture that tells men to step back and be less, we need clarity from Scripture about what it means to be men who follow Jesus without fear. God created men to be present and powerful, but because of distraction and fear, we drift towards absence and irrelevance. This new study challenges our men to step forward, disrupt with courage, and anchor themselves in God's promises.

Last month, our Downtown campus launched a 5pm Sunday evening service! We are excited about the growth this campus has seen over the past year, and we are hopeful this service will provide an opportunity for more people to come together and worship.

Griggs sits just outside downtown Greenville, and Mitch shares about their mission to worship Jesus, revitalize the church, and reach the neighborhood of Poe Mill.

Over the past several days, all our campuses have been caring for both our members and those in our communities. We are grieving with those who have suffered loss, but we are also thankful for those who are working hard to serve the vulnerable in our communities. God designed the church to be a source of hope and stability, and our desire is to live that out in tangible ways.

Earlier this month, we came alongside our Senior Honor partners to celebrate National Assisted Living Week! It was a special time to show some extra care and appreciation for the staff and residents of the assisted living homes our campuses partner with on a regular basis.

One of our local partners is Overcomers—a residential addiction recovery program for men struggling with addiction and other life-dominating issues. The program is Christ-centered and adapts the twelve steps from a Biblical perspective to help participants develop a life free from the bondage of sin and addiction.
