Serving Partner JC Cares | 2025
JC Cares, one of our serving partners, recently celebrated ten years of ministry work in Pickens County—empowering people in need to walk in dignity through biblical counseling, discipleship, and meaningful work. JC Cares Founder Aimee White, a member of our Powdersville campus, shares a wonderful ministry summary for their ten year anniversary.

We also connected with Aimee to hear exciting news about what’s happened in 2025: a new building, recent graduations, an in-house t-shirt printing business, and more.

How does JC Cares make a difference?
Many folks in poverty have become defined by their physical, mental, and emotional challenges—leading to fractured hope. This organization is a biblical counseling and discipleship ministry in Easley that aims to see the economically disadvantaged flourish. JC Cares creates opportunities for meaningful work, personal development, and cultivates relationships as they walk alongside these folks, allowing God to help write a new chapter in their story.

What’s happened over the last year?
- Through short work shifts, a personal development program, and meetings with a Life Skill Coach, individuals have overcome physical, mental, and emotional challenges. On November 13, they celebrated the perseverance and achievements of three graduates.
- The Maker’s Studio program has become a social enterprise. Skilled artisans teach monthly art classes open to the public. All funds support the work of JC Cares.
- The JC Works program has expanded to offer more job skills for JC Works employees—making the program more sustainable. Part of this expansion has included setting up a new, in-house t-shirt printing business.
- A new, larger building has allowed even more people to come through their doors and receive the help that they need.

What’s next?
In the coming year, JC Cares will focus on building capacity, growing their team, and expanding their work program. As they’ve recently begun setting up a new t-shirt printing business, they look forward to fulfilling their first orders in January 2026! JC Works employees are able to expand their professional skills through this printing business.
Will you join us in prayer for the work that JC Cares is doing?
