Why

Israel?

Being an Evangelical Christian in Israel can be both complicated and difficult, yet there are great opportunities to influence the next generation to become spiritual leaders. Grace Church hopes to come alongside these brothers and sisters in Christ to encourage and help equip them for the unique challenges they face.

Our

Partnership

The Association of Baptist Churches in Israel (ABC) seeks to be salt and light to glorify God in the place he chose to dwell and become man. Representing the largest single group of Evangelical Christians in Israel today, the association includes 18 churches and a community of 3,000 people. They primarily serve the Arab population in Israel, providing discipleship opportunities for youth, children, families, and more.

ABC has a vision to empower the Church in Israel, developing trust and cooperation between congregations. They sponsor common ministries that impact communities with the gospel, strengthening the Christian presence in the Holy Land and supporting mission work in the region. Their mission is to support churches and pastors in every way possible and build the Kingdom of God in the Holy Land and beyond.

What You

Can Do

The youth of Nazareth face significant challenges spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and academically. Having someone to stand in the gap to oversee youth development and ministry opportunities is a high priority for ABC. Because of this critical need, Grace has committed to providing financial support for a Youth Ministry Coordinator position with ABC. We are excited that God has led Nicola Odeh to this leadership role. Pray for him to have wisdom and favor as he brings together youth, parents, and volunteers for growth and discipleship moments.

Our partnership with ABC of Israel will include opportunities to serve on short-term mission teams in the future. Plans have been delayed due to the recent conflict in the Middle East.

As we wait, we ask you to pray for our brothers and sisters in Israel.

  • Pray for the churches within ABC to remain steadfast in faith, unity, and love as they navigate ongoing uncertainty.
  • Ask God to strengthen and encourage church leaders as they care for their communities, offering both spiritual guidance and practical support.
  • Pray for opportunities for the church to be a visible witness of Christ’s compassion, bringing hope, reconciliation, and light in a time of tension.
  • Ask God to sustain and deepen partnerships between our church and these ministries, fostering mutual encouragement and gospel impact.
