Over 500 Women Participate in Seven Arrows Study
This summer, our Ezer ministry launched a new study—Seven Arrows: Studying Philippians Together. Over 500 women participated in the study this summer, and many more are going through it this fall. Using the Seven Arrows Bible study method, participants examine the book of Philippians by working through these questions:
- What does this passage say?
- What does this passage mean to its original audience?
- What does this passage tell us about God?
- What does this passage tell us about man?
- What does this passage demand of me?
- How does this passage change the way I relate to people?
- How does this passage prompt me to pray?
Here’s what some of our women had to say about using this method to study Philippians:
“I'm more intentional about my time; less of a check-list and more discerning about what I'm reading and how to analyze it/respond.”
“I loved the way it forced me to pause more frequently and think about how I saw God’s character in what I was reading and what it demanded of me.”
“I loved using this method to dig deeper into the verses I’m reading. My prayers have more depth and seem less self centered.”
There’s something special that happens when women come together in community at God’s feet and study his Word together, and we are so thankful for how God worked through this resource. To learn more about Ezer and other resources for women, and to find upcoming studies, click below.
