Mill Village Ministries New Service Hub in West Greenville

Culturally Engaged

One of our local Outreach partners is Mill Village Ministries—a collection of social entrepreneurs whose mission is to unite with God’s vision for individual life change and holistic transformation of under-resourced communities. Mill Village Ministries strives to build relationships, leverage resources, and empower individuals to transform their communities by providing healthy food options, training teens in job and leadership skills, launching local entrepreneurs, and more.

We are excited to share that Mill Village recently broke ground on a new service hub in West Greenville! The organization’s approximately 14,000-square-foot building at 1186 Pendleton St. will be renovated to hold Mill Village Farms, Village Wrench, Village Launch, and Village Engage.

The space will feature:

  • A full-service bike shop
  • A FoodShare warehouse to facilitate the distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables across the county
  • Dedicated training spaces for entrepreneurial classes
  • Spaces for youth leadership development programs
  • An event plaza with public artwork
  • Space for minority and women-owned pop-up markets

We are thankful to partner with organizations that provide valuable resources and programming for our communities. If you’d like to learn more about Mill Village Ministries, click below. If you are interested in learning about how to serve, please contact Kirsten at [email protected]c.
