New Ezer Study
This year, we have been excited to launch a new study for our women—Stewarding Strength. At the heart of being a woman created in God's image is using the strength God has given us to benefit others. Stewarding Strength invites our women to examine their season, their individuality, and how they can leverage their unique abilities for God's glory and the growth of his Kingdom.
Our Anderson, Pelham, and Taylors campuses have worked through the study over the past months, and a few women shared this with us:
Who wants to talk about their "rotten fruit" or "diseased roots"? I didn't. But God used the Stewarding Strength study as the loving and gentle nudge I needed to reveal the lies I believed about God that had been destroying my joy and holding me hostage. I'm leaving this study feeling free, having many moments in my days where God helps me see the lies and fight them with the truth of Scripture (2 Cor. 10:5).
This study is teaching me how to be a good steward of the life God has given me! God has been reminding me my life is not my own, and he is using who he has created me to be, along with the time he has graciously given me to grow closer to him and to come alongside other women to learn and encourage each other in our faith through our personal stories and through Scripture! To God be the glory of it all!
We are so thankful for the work God is doing in and through the women at our church. This study has provided a helpful framework for participants to revisit topics and language from our core Ezer studies on a deeper level, as well as hear teaching from Grace members and work through the material in discussion groups.
