Legacy Finishing Well
Have you heard about Legacy at Grace Church? Legacy is a ministry for those who are in a season of caregiving or empty nesting and for those who want to learn how to finish well. Legacy not only provides information on relevant topics through classes and discussions, but it also connects people in each of these seasons through fellowship and community. Every month, Legacy hosts an equipping lunch, and various speakers address topics like managing conflict, medical advocacy, financial planning, and more.
A few of our members had this to say about how God has used Legacy in their lives:
“Milestones in life can come with many challenges and fewer instructions. I am discovering that becoming a thriving and relevant senior requires targeted resources and effort. Legacy is a ministry that is equipping members for aging well and continued service in God’s Kingdom.”
–Monica Blanton (Pelham campus)
“Dwight and I recently moved to Travelers Rest. We were delighted to find out about Legacy luncheons each month. We have found the programs to be very helpful—designed to enhance our journey to love God and love people. We were encouraged that, even in our mature years, the focus was to continue to grow and live life fully as followers of Christ.”
–Dwight and Susan Thomas (Travelers Rest campus)
Discipleship is a life-long process, and we are thankful for Monica and the Thomases for sharing just a small glimpse into how God is at work in their lives. If you would like to find out about upcoming events or learn more about Legacy, click below!
