Love Your Neighbor

One organization we partner with to provide support for international refugees is World Relief—a global Christian humanitarian organization that brings sustainable solutions to disasters, extreme poverty, violence, oppression, and mass displacement.

Over the past few years, we have partnered with World Relief through financial support, members volunteering to wrap around individuals and families, and through connecting refugees in need of housing with Front Porch Housing.

Last month, our Greer campus was able to come alongside World Relief and help host their Spring Event! The focus of the event was “Love Your Neighbor,” and various speakers highlighted what it looks like to be a countercultural example of restoration and reconciliation in an increasingly polarized culture.

Volunteers from the Greer campus helped with set up and tear down, as well as audio visual support. Over 90 people from our community and beyond attended the event, and we were thankful to be a small part of supporting our partners in their mission of helping those in need around the world.
