Families Count Stories of Life Change
We recently heard Amy and Tiffany share how their friendship developed through a mentoring relationship in Families Count. Families Count is a seven-week, biblically based parent education program that is designed to meet the standards for state-approved parent education programs. Our goal through this class is to prayerfully provide support and guidance and to show mercy to parents who either are at risk of being separated or have already been separated from their children. You can watch Amy and Tiffany’s story below.
This month, six individuals graduated from our most recent Families Count class held at Front Porch Housing! Graduation was a special time for each individual to connect with their mentor and celebrate moving forward. Our friends at Mosaic Inspire made special cards and banners to add even more joy to the event! A few participants had this to share about their experience:
"I graduated from my class tonight and I just wanted to tell you how awesome all of y’all are at Grace and Front Porch Housing. The support and resources are great, and I'm very grateful for the opportunity to be able to be a part of it. It has been a blessing."
"My children are going to cry on Thursday because we can't come here! They love it, and I have never met people who support all of us like this."
Please join us in prayer for these six individuals—that they would continue to grow and that God would protect their families. If you are interested in serving with Families Count, we have opportunities for mentorship and providing food and transportation. Click below to learn more!
