Psalm | Week 1 | Day 1

Psalm | Week 1 | Day 1

Psalm 100:1-5

1 Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!

2 Worship the Lord with gladness.

Come before him, singing with joy.

3 Acknowledge that the Lord is God!

He made us, and we are his.

We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving;

go into his courts with praise.

Give thanks to him and praise his name.

5 For the Lord is good.

His unfailing love continues forever,

and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

Reflect

  • There is an excitement when it comes to the opportunity to be able to worship God in this passage. When you are worshiping, do you view it as an opportunity to respond to what all God has done or do you find yourself going through the motions?
  • God is the creator and sustainer of everything in the world. How have you seen in your life God being the source of everything you need?
  • There is always a reason to give God thanks. What is something specific that you could thank him for that you may not have already done?
