Break Through the Noise | Week 1 | Drugs and Alcohol

All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful, but not all things edify. Let no one seek his own good, but that of his neighbor . . . Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:23–24, 31

Romans 13:1

Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in position of authority have been placed there by God.

In what ways is it hard for you to submit to authority?

1 Corinthians 10:23-34, 31

You say, "I am allowed to do anything" --but not everything is good for you. You say, "I am allowed to do anything" --but not everything is beneficial. So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Romans 1:22-23
