We’re looking forward to our chance to gather together on July 17 to worship through singing songs and through the reading and teaching of scripture. This is a unique and fun opportunity for everyone in our church - of all ages and serving roles - to be in the room together. This gathering provides a chance for children and students to engage with the congregation in corporate worship and creates an opportunity for adults to teach and learn from them in the ways they typically worship in Kids and Students ministries. Paul says in 1 Timothy 4 to “be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. Until I get there, focus on reading the Scriptures to the church, encouraging the believers, and teaching them.” This night gives us a chance to do just that in a practical way that will hopefully produce in us an eagerness to continue to encourage each other in our worship through the gospel.
