Specialized Project Manager

Overall Responsibilities

Coordinate, oversee, and advise aspects of communications projects to ensure timely delivery of resources and assets that meet the needs of ministries, campuses, and the leadership, teaching, and communications teams. Primary contact point for consultations and advising on communications projects under your responsibility. 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Project management for projects including:
    • Printed internal and external signage for campus environments, renovations, and new facilities (eg., yard, building, and wall signage, banners).
    • Collaboration with internal team members on branding, design, copywriting, construction, and finance aspects of projects.
    • Working with outside vendors on specifications, branding, scale, attachment, illumination, pricing, scheduling, and coordination among multiple disciplines as needed for individual projects.
    • Ordering signs through the print shop and outside vendors.
    • Providing budget information for planned projects.
  • Partner with ministries and campuses, meeting with them regularly to assess needs.
  • Travel to campuses to survey, observe signage installations, audit current signage, and determine needs for signage updates/additions.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for consultations and advising on communications projects in assigned areas.
  • Manage each project from consultation or request through delivery including clear communication with requestor, managing expectations and advising when appropriate, assigning appropriate communications team resources and ensuring clarity of the project needs with them, following up with any modifications or changes requested during the process, and ensuring timely delivery of the project.
  • Help ensure high-quality and highest impact communications are created that will mobilize the target audiences to respond.
  • Other responsibilities as needed:
    • Digital teaching and promotional slides for use in our services and by our ministry teams;
    • Small format media (eg., guest information cards, flyers, promotional postcards, booklets, curriculum workbooks, guides for events, digital and printed books).
    • Content for our website, mobile app, social media channels, and weekly newsletters.
